$5000 RAFFLE FUNDRAISER

The Whitman-Hanson High School Hockey Boosters are holding a raffle in which ONLY 100 tickets will be sold for $100 each. Tickets will be numbered from 00-99. The raffle will take place on Friday, February 17 and will be picked according to the middle two numbers of the evening Mass State Lottery number. If the number drawn is 1234, then the winning number will be 23 and the person who has that ticket number will win the $5,000 prize immediately! Tickets can be shared with friends, family, co-workers, etc.

All proceeds will benefit the Whitman-Hanson High School Hockey Boosters.

11/16/11 WH HOCKEY INFORMATION MEETING

We are fast approaching the season and Coach Manning will be having another parent meeting.

This meeting will be a chance for Coach Manning to speak about the Varsity/JV Hockey program..expectations and Q/A.

At the end I will rehash and answer any Boosters questions.

This meeting tends to benefit NEW parents more than the veterans, but all are invited. It is optional for any veteran parents, but I urge the new parents to try to make it if you can. PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD TO OTHER PARENTS AS I DON’T HAVE ALL EMAILS AS OF YET.

The meeting will take place Wednesday, November 16^th at the Whitman-Hanson high school. It will be from 7:30pm-8:30pm and it will be held in the 2^nd floor assembly room. For those of you not familiar with the school, you’ll either be entering the school through the main entrance or through the gym entrance (not sure which ones will be unlocked) Once you’re in the school, take the nearest set of stairs to the 2^nd floor and the signs and hopefully I, will be in the hallway to direct you.

The Golf Tournament is less than three weeks away! Spots are filling up fast! Coach Manning and Stan Pendrak will be @ Damien's on Thursday, October 6th from 8pm-9pm. They will be collecting sign up fees (for foursomes and sponsors) for WH Golf Tournament. For those that are playing and wishing to sign up, please make every effort to make your payment that evening. Please continue to spread the word! If you can't make it Thursday, we will have one other night to meet and pay/sign up. Please feel free to send a check to WH Hockey Boosters to Stan Pendrak in the amount of $95.00 p/player ($380.00 per foursome) Please include all names of the players in your group. We are looking for $50 hole sponsors and could also benefit from gift cards or gift certificates if cash sponsorship is not ideal (restaurants, etc.)

HS Conditioning Camp!

Attention WH High School Hockey Players... A High School Conditioning Camp is being offered to all WH High School Hockey players and surrounding towns. Rockland Rink just announced their 22nd Annual Conditioning Camp to all skaters. It is 7 hours of conditioning and intensive drills! Several WH players attended this conditioning camp last year and our program received positive feedback. Three sessions are being offered.

GOLF TOURNAMENT! October 23rd!!!

This is one of our biggest fundraisers for our hockey program. Golfers and Sponsors Needed! Rockland Golf Course Tee times: 11:00am to 1PM. Fee: $100.00 per golfer. “Scramble” format Whats included: Golf, prizes, and lunch. Carts are a separate cost, but the course is very easy to walk.
